Human Rights and Working Conditions

1. Purpose and Scope

The purpose of this policy is to define Best TSL Sp. z o.o.'s ("the Company") commitment to respecting human rights, ensuring decent working conditions, and complying with ethical and legal standards throughout the value chain—covering employees, contractors, and business partners.

2. General Principles

Best TSL Sp. z o.o. commits to:

  • Respecting and promoting internationally recognized human rights, including those set out in the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the core conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO).
  • Operating in full compliance with Polish labor law, including the Labour Code, and applicable European Union regulations.

3. Human Rights and Anti-Discrimination

The Company:

  • Upholds the principle of equality and non-discrimination, regardless of gender, age, race, nationality, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other personal characteristic.
  • Promotes an inclusive and safe work environment, free from harassment, intimidation, and violence.
  • Strictly prohibits all forms of forced labor and child labor.

4. Working Conditions and Remuneration

The Company ensures:

  • Legal employment and transparent terms of work.
  • Safe and hygienic working conditions in accordance with current health and safety regulations.
  • Fair remuneration, at least at the level of the statutory minimum wage.
  • Regulated working hours, adequate rest periods, and legally mandated vacation leave.
  • Opportunities for professional development and training.

5. Freedom of Association

The Company respects the right of employees to freely associate, form trade unions, and engage in collective bargaining, in accordance with applicable laws.

6. Responsibility in the Supply Chain

We expect our suppliers, subcontractors, and business partners to adhere to the same standards regarding human rights and working conditions. The Company takes steps to identify and mitigate the risks of violations throughout its supply chain.

7. Reporting Violations and Whistleblower Protection

The Company provides channels for reporting irregularities, human rights violations, or breaches of labor laws, including anonymous or named reporting options. Whistleblowers are protected from retaliation.

8. Monitoring and Improvement

This policy is subject to regular review and updates. The Company monitors its implementation and takes corrective actions in the event of non-compliance.
