Environmental Policy

Effective date: September 14, 2023.

1. Purpose of the Document

The purpose of this Environmental Policy is to define the principles and directions of action undertaken by Best TSL to minimize the environmental impact of our logistics and transport activities. Our priority is sustainable development and responsible resource management throughout the vehicle supply chain.

2. Scope of Application

This policy applies to all employees of Best TSL, as well as collaborators and subcontractors involved in the provision of vehicle transport services within Poland and the European Union.

3. General Principles

Best TSL is committed to:

• Complying with all applicable environmental laws and regulations, including national, EU, and local requirements.
• Preventing environmental pollution, particularly emissions of CO₂ and other greenhouse gases related to transportation.
• Continuously improving our environmental management system and raising employees’ environmental awareness.

4. Our Environmental Actions

A. Fleet and Transport

• We use modern vehicles that meet Euro 6 emission standards or higher.
• We have implemented telematics and fleet management systems to optimize fuel consumption and reduce empty runs.
• Our vehicles are regularly serviced to ensure ecological efficiency.

B. Logistics and Planning

• We optimize transport routes to reduce emissions and travel time.
• We choose multimodal transport solutions when possible (e.g. combining road and rail transport).
• We have implemented digital processes (eCMR, electronic transport documents) to reduce paper usage.

C. Waste Management

• We ensure selective waste collection and proper disposal of waste generated by our operations.
• We cooperate exclusively with certified waste disposal and recycling providers.

D. Education and Environmental Culture

• We regularly train our employees in eco-driving, energy management, and environmental protection principles.
• We encourage our business partners to follow sustainable development practices.

5. Responsibility

The Management Board of Best TSL and the designated Environmental Protection Representative are responsible for implementing and supervising this Policy. Every employee is obligated to act in accordance with its provisions.

6. Final Provisions

This Policy is approved by the Management Board and is available to all employees and interested parties. It will be reviewed and updated periodically, at least once a year.
